Best foundation buys for oily skin girls

When it comes to picking the right foundation it is really important to pick the right one for your skin type.  If you have oily skin picking out a specific foundation can make such a big difference.

Skin prep for oily skin is an absolute must and this will make the foundation sit so much better on the skin if it is prepped well.

A few things just to note, try to look for a foundation with a matt finish this will help prevent shine from the oil production and it will soak up excess moisture.

Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation – This foundation is one of my all time favourites- it’s such amazing coverage and lasts so long! I’ve literally worn it all day and night before and it still looks great.A good primer to use with this is the Laura Mercier Oil free primer as as said skin prep is key with oily skin and getting your foundation to look flawless!

L’oreal Infallible pro Matte foundation – This foundation offers a full matte coverage but is really lightweight and feels almost creamy on the skin. It’s really inexpensive too which is a plus!

Urban Decay Powder – if like me you like to use a powder foundation in the day- this is a great options, it controls excess oil, looks like skin and leaves a matt finish. Its lightweight so is great for everyday as well.

Revlon color stay foundation ( make sure it’s the one for oily skin). This is another brilliant drugstore option and has been said to be a dupe for the Estee Lauder double Wear foundation. This is because it is very long lasting and does help to control oil. I personally prefer the estee Lauder one but if you’re on a tight budget this one is really good too and you should not be disappointed. This foundation does dry pretty quick so i make sure i blend as fast as i can else it can look a bit cakey just bare that in mind when applying.

Lastly the Clinique Stay Matte oil free foundation is brilliant for oily skin girls. It gives a long wearing matte finish and is easy to blend which is definite plus. I love clinique products as I find for my sensitive skin they work amazing and don’t clog my pores.

I hope this gives you some options, you really don’t need to go out and buy the most expensive there are some great drugstore options out just find what works for you.
